Gaesung insam agricultura5a8l cooperative association is the real proof of domestic insam business that has tradition and history for 93 years and that has been evaluated as the first grade by thousands members of association and product association since the establishment in 1910. This locates in the core part to supervise 9 cities and districts such as pochun, yeonchun, namyangju, dongducheon, etc. In the north of kyunggido that is considered as main producing area of six-year old insam in 36-38n° that is the best location for insam cultivation. And this area is red insam cultivation area that is nominated as the best place for insam because it has four distinct seasons and the deviation of temperature is significant. On the basis of weather conditions that is the bless of heaven, the insam from the north of kyunggido has thick head and saponin is about 28 kinds as twice as insam from other countries(14~16 kinds). So it is recognized as having the best quality.This association has been producing about 30 kinds of insam processing products as using six-year old red insam as the main raw material. The flagship products are red insam, dried insam with skin, red insam section, red insam pill, etc.
